Hardigg Introduces Big Features in a Small Compact Storm Case®
October 22, 2004
The smaller dimensions of the iM2050 allow for safe transport of scaled-down equipment without compromising the same great features and benefits known throughout the Storm Case line.

SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass. – Hardigg Cases is announcing the release of the new iM2050 Storm Case. The iM2050’s compact design provides unsurpassed protection for smaller equipment against water, dust, sand and extreme temperatures.

Storm Cases are constructed from Hardigg’s high performance HPX® resin and are rugged, lightweight, water-resistant, dent-resistant, are virtually unbreakable and guaranteed for life.

Features and benefits generally not found on other small cases are included as standard features on the iM2050. Two easy-to-open Press & Pull latches aid in avoiding traditional knuckle busting, two padlockable-ready hasps provide additional security if needed in transit, a Vortex™ auto pressure release valve automatically adjusts the air pressure without letting in water, and a soft-grip handle with rigid core provides strength with comfort. The iM2050 has a wide range of applications including photography, scuba, military, safety, law enforcement, medical, electronics and sporting goods, to name a few. The exterior dimensions are 11.8” x 9.8” x 4.7” and the interior dimensions are 9.5” x 7.5” x 4.25”. The iM2050 is available in black, olive drab, gray, yellow and orange.

The iM2050 Storm Cases has a broad range of interior foam capabilities to meet unique applications. As a standard option, multilayered cubed foam is available to easily create customized foam interiors with layered shelving effects per individual applications. For extremely complex designs, Hardigg’s waterjet foam-cutting system uses a computer-controlled motion system for precise handling of complex, curved and detailed shapes.

Hardigg has over half a century of standard-setting, innovative engineering under its belt.
